This little known gem of a Pomerol is situated next door to the prestigious Chateau Petrus.

80-year-old Merlot vines produce a wine of incredible substance and presence.
On the nose the usually Merlot flavours dominate, blackberry, plums with notes of vanilla these follow through on to the palate along with cedar hints.
Will improve in the next 10-15 years but can be drunk now providing the wine is decanted.
