Gevrey Chambertin Clos de la Justice, Vallet Freres 2014

This lovely Gevrey Chambertin is one of the best examples of this fine AOC. 

All grown in a walled vineyard that helps shelter the vines from adverse weather conditions and itself quite rare in Gevrey-Chambertin.

Delicious and well balanced, the nose was wonderfully perfumed with baking spices, rose

petal, pot pourri, vanilla and red cherries

Robert Parker wrote "Clos de la Justice has only a level of village but has the quality of a 1er Cru , it is one of the best

Gevrey Chambertin ". This vineyard is really a micro climate, there is little soil and you find under immediately

the rocks, so the roots are very deep.
