Fresh White Wine
We have been following wines from Gascony for well over twenty years and especially this fine Domaine run by the Duffour family. Gascony is one of the most beautiful rural regions in France and has very old historic links with England. These wines are however very modern with a touch of New Zealand "savoir-faire".
Sauvignon is not grown and the lovely fresh white is made from local Gros Manseng, Colombard and Ugny blanc. Domaine de la Salette rosé is Merlot based and the red Salette is Tannat, Merlot and Cabernet Franc based.
